I loved this story. When I first received it from BookishFirst, I was a bit intimidated by its size (825 pages), but the story was truly captivating and hooked me from the beginning. Kira’s story touched on every emotion...love, excitement, tragedy, loneliness, worry, companionship, sorrow, determination and victory. I wouldn’t exactly call it a happy ending, but a deserving ending. I loved how the story progressed from the moon, Adrasteia, to 61 Cygni to Bughunt to Ganymede and finally Cordova 1420. The story never slacked in any way even when the characters were in cryo to travel between the different systems. There was always something going on. I enjoyed the character interactions the most...especially when they involved Gregorovich...the cheeky Wallfish ship mind. The world building was spectacular and allowed me to picture these places without difficulty. I have already recommended this book to a friend and will definitely continue to do so.
