It is a powerful piece , a fast epic and intergalactic science fiction. I think the Paolini did a very good research in science, lasers and planets to make the story looks real in the universe he created and how this can impact in real life maybe in the future since he also shows problems that we has humanity has. maybe the character need more polishing but the story mostly is about the universe Kira livesin.
The book is huge 900 pages like the ones of the inheritance cycle maybe he could have done it in 2 books but since Paolini is thinking of making another one maybe this will be the first one of the series and hope that this series will be as good as Inheritance.
