Love love love this! I did not enjoy Eragon so I did not expect to enjoy this. I was therefore surprised by how engaged I was from the first page onward. The author's writing has developed beautifully since his first novel. The story is fascinating and kept me engaged the whole time. That cover is gorgeous! The cover alone would have had my attention but the story is really worth the hype. I can't wait to purchase for the high school library where I work. So many boys love Eragon. I think it will be good for them to read about a girl because the boys who read this usually tell me they only want books about boys. This is not a bad thing but it is good for everyone to branch out, try new things, and see other perspectives.
