I am very excited to continue reading To Sleep on a Sea of Stars. It had a bit of a boring start to me because I prefer sci-fi books without romance, and this book had one right at the beginning. However, it picked up on the second day showing some action, becoming more intriguing, and showing more of the futuristic world. The ending really drew me in and made me want to read more.
The writing of this excerpt was good, and I can see how Paolini's writing has advanced since the last Eragon book. If I do not win To Sleep in a Sea of Stars I will be ordering it as soon as it comes out. I enjoyed the characters, setting, and possibility of aliens hinted at in this excerpt and feel like I will enjoy reading this book.
