At first I was honestly nervous about this new sci-fi setting for Christopher Paolini's latest book after having fallen in love with the rich fantasy world of the Inheritance series, but my worries were blown away within reading the first page. The protagonist is a breath of fresh air, the characters and their interactions with each other are realistic, and (at least within the preview) it has seemed to completely side-step becoming a cliche space story or even a cliche sci-fi story. Mr. Paolini consistently puts out novels that I can't wait to devour and it seems that the genre of them doesn't matter one bit. To Sleep In a Sea of Stars is definitely on my reading list, and I HIGHLY recommend it as well as the rest of Christopher Paolini's wonderful novels.
