While this is not Christopher Paolini’s best work there is still a lot of great things in this story. If you are like me and really enjoyed the inheritance cycle as much as I did then I think that there is some great parts to this. Christopher Paolini has a way with words and you can tell that it had matured since his previous work. The main character of this series is really fun and easy to like. I am hoping to read more of this story because it catches you right away and never lets you go. With the expanse series done and the need to find more science fiction series this is the perfect book I feel to start. I have read that many people think that this book is too long, but from what I have read I don’t feel like this could be the case. To Sleep in a See of Stars is a great book to not only get you out of a reading slump, but is a perfect start if you are looking to get into this genre.
