Wonderful Characters and Plotline!

I liked Kira and Alan from the first few sentences. I got immediately invested in their relationship and I just want them to be happy. The story has an interesting premise and the the end of the excerpt took a surprisingly turn. I cannot wait for the book so I can find out what happens next.
