If this opening is any indication, this is going to be Paolini's best work yet. Like his previous works the world is beautiful and incredibly detailed. My experience with reading sci-fi has been hit or miss. I often find hard sci-fi too procedural and hard to follow. This is not the case here. I found the story to be extremely accessible. I can't wait to read the rest!
