Sci-Fi is not my first choice of genre to read, but I definitely enjoy it. That being said, as I read through the excerpt given for this book, I felt unsure as to whether I was looking forward to reading more of it or just wanting it to end. There is a great idea here and it could be an amazing book for anyone who is completely committed to sci-fi, but maybe that's just not me. I might give it a go someday, but not anytime soon.
