I knew going in to this that it wasn't going to be about Kira and Alan building a happy home together, but that's already what I want because I love their characters and Paolini's world-building so much (just from the first pages!). I want to know more about Kira's childhood and the whole universe in general. What is the government structure like? The relationship between the corporation and the people and government? And then of course, who are these aliens? And more immediately, will Kira get back to her ship? So many questions that I need answers to!!
