To start off, I don't read science fiction. I have read all of the Inheritance Cycle and loved those years ago. Starting this off, I was very skeptical of how a science fiction book would go with my tastes, but I actually really grew to like it! It was a little dense to start out with from a sci-fi beginner standpoint, but once I got to the first big twist, I was hooked. I went from probably not buying the book to probably buying it, so kudos!
