I have to admit sci-fi is not my genre, but I wanted to give it a try, given it was written by Christopher Paolini. It didn't grab my attention. I didn't love the setting, I didn't like how it started out feeling like a romance, and I found the descriptions too wordy. When I found out it was a 800-page book, I knew I would not be reading this.
