I'm a sucker for sci-fi so this book had me from the get go with its absolutely gorgeous cover (seriously, how could you not want to get your hands on it?) and the beautiful, intriguing title. As for the book itself, it seemed to pick up in action. The writing and narrative are compelling, and when you start it is easy to just keep reading. The excerpt drew me in, only to end on a cliffhanger! So of course, now I am desperate to keep reading!
