This is a science fiction story, including a love story. Humans are exploring the universe and using bed technologies to colonize them. They are working to find places to inhabit. Kira and Alan are two of the scientists with jobs of xenobiologist and geologist respectively. They are in love and want to settle down somewhere. However, Kira finds herself in trouble during a mission, which might take her life as she makes a big discovery. Is she going to survive? Will she get back to Alan so they can begin their life together?
