After I finished Tiffany Blues by M. J. Rose. I had a strong desire to buy brushes, a palette and paints to create the expression of beauty that was Louis Comfort Tiffany"s mantra. After all, the heroine of the story, Jennie Bell, caught the attention of Mr. Tiffany by using only black, gray and white as she endeavored to capture light.

Tiffany Blues is a wonderfully evocative description of the Jazz Age. It is also a mystery, a love story and a fascinating glimpse into a decadent world most of .us will never experience.

The story is told with many accuracies to qualify it as a historical work. The fictional heroine attends a workshop at Mr. Tiffany"s lavish estate on Long Island. In reality, many young artists were encouraged to pursue their dreams during these summer workshops.

I enjoyed this very believable book and recommend it with a rating of 5 stars.
