Bravo to M.J. Rose, Author of “Tiffany Blues” for the captivating, intriguing, mystical, mysterious, enthralling, artistic gem that she has written.
I loved the setting, the history, and the descriptions of the works of art. The descriptions the author gives in the book are very vivid, and I can "see" what the author is describing. It's so well written and I just love the characters...and love the timeframe it's written in.
Told from the perspective of protagonist Jenny Bell, most of the story takes place in New York during 1924, with some parts narrated afterwards in 1957. This book captured my attention right from the beginning and held it throughout.
