An "artistic" historical fiction...
It's New York, 1924 and 24 year old Jenny Bell is hoping to get a start on her artistic career. She is one of a handful of artists invited to a well known artists colony called Laurelton Hall. Jenny vows to make the most of her opportunity and avoid all possible distractions and entanglements.
Yet Jenny has a dark, traumatic past and of course it tries to come back to haunt her.
Then a series of odd and disturbing occurrences begin and they suggest that someone knows about Jenny's haunted past. Will they try and use it against her to earn the coveted gallery spot that will be granted to one of the colony participants?
This was a fairly interesting read, I just found it fairly slow at times.
