What I really liked from this book was how different it felt from other things I have read. The writing was incredibly enchanting and just wonderfully enjoyable. This was just one of the novels where it's full of nice quotes that you want to make a bookmark out of.
Which connects to something else I liked about this book, which is the aesthetic from the story. The setting never ceased to feel beautiful or interesting or vibrant. It really gave the novel an added effect to add to the story as a whole. I didn't necessarily enjoy the characters as much as I had hoped. I had trouble connecting with them. Which for me, is a real bummer because I feel like character is the most important part of the story. I still liked it though.
