I am a fan of historical mysteries and this was my first book to read by M.J. Rose. This books sports a beautiful cover and it just beckons you to pick it up and take a look inside. I enjoyed the writing and the storyline a lot. The characters were well developed and the story contains suspense, romance and drama. The book contains picturesque descriptions of the art world . M.J. Rose is a talented writer and I look forward to reading more of her books. Overall I give this book 5 stars! It was an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it.
