A Really Enjoyable Romance, with a Slightly Disappointing Mystery

In reading this book, I expected a romance and a mystery and I got both of those things, but not necessarily in the way that I expected. The mystery elements felt a little bit lacking for in terms of being misdirected about who the romantic lead was halfway through the book. Elements of cheating involved in that relationship were also not something I enjoyed very much. Since the book also took place at the Laurelton estate halfway through the book I was not expecting the first hundred pages to take place somewhere else. The mystery I felt was revealed too quickly to the audience, there was no suspense left after the past of the main character was revealed for the audience.
Overall, it was an enjoyable read, even if I felt like there were some lacking elements overall.
