This book is a study in colors, and the use of vibrant imagery to paint pictures with words. The main character is mysteriously melancholy, a portrait of understated grays, while her friend and counterpart is a refreshingly charming pop of pink and bubbles. There's a lot going on in this first 47 pages, and the beginnings of a past drama for the main character and I can't wait to read more about her past!
