Tiffany Blues is the story of a young artist living in New York City, Jenny Bell. It's apparent that she has a dark history which is to be revealed to the reader as the story continues. The end of the "First impression" has her meeting Ben Montgomery who works for the Herald Tribune. He is trying to convince her to show her sketches to his boss who he is sure will purchase them. He wants to use one of her sketches to run alongside an article he wrote regarding a 4 year old murder mystery.
