The cover was calling for me, with its warm-colored rich sky hovering above a mysterious mansion. As soon as I began reading the author's note about the Tiffany Mansion I fell in love. The way the story was inspired from a real story but told through the eyes of a relatable fictional caracter is just compelling.
I could also sense a dark secret Jenny is hiding as if she was running from a tormented past. And if I wasn't already hooked, this made the book have a stronger hold on me.
