M.J. Rose appears to be a very colorful and descriptive author, which I love in a writer. It makes me feel a part of the story. I love the beautiful cover. This book is set during the roaring ‘20s which is one of my favorite eras. Jenny Bell has well hidden secrets. I can’t wait to read the rest of the story and learn what her secrets are and how they may affect her future. I’m also curious as to how the fire started. Did someone set it; if so then why?
