I think that this is going to end up being a huge hit, especially within the YA fantasy community. The cover itself drew me in, because it is lovely and colorful, but of course I stayed for the story. I really enjoyed that it seemed to be a blend of genres, and not just a straight up fantasy. There is a mystery aspect to it of course, as well as a feeling of a future story. And, it is based on Greek gods, which admittedly I don't know a ton about, but that was fine for me reading the story.
I loved that Io felt very well developed- she was not a cookie-cutter character, and she was obviously going through a lot during the story. The fact that she was so powerful just added to the tension. And of course, there was a ton at stake for her, so she was clearly going through a lot.
