Fun ride
The cover is stunning. That was the biggest draw for me. The colors are beautiful together and the character art is stunning. The story itself is also wonderful. I love the premise and the mythological aspect of this story. The fates are such interesting characters from mythology and I love that this story gives us more of a modern view of them. It has Percy Jackson vibes for sure but with a modern ya perspective. I have to admit that the writing style didn't always work for me. It could be a bit slow and clunky at times but the story was interesting enough that I enjoyed myself and kept reading. The characters are well developed and I felt like they were relatable and as the reader I got to know them well. The description is a bit clunky but in the way a debut novel almost always is and I can tell the author knows what they are doing and this is someone to watch.
