3 out of 5 stars.
This review is very late, I've had a ROUGH couple of months right after I received this so it took me some extra time to get to this. I also think that this played into me not enjoying this very much.
So, I am giving Threads that Bind three starts instead of two (my usual meh or dnf rating) because I would love to reread this at a better time and give it a proper chance to wow me. I liked quite a few aspects of this but I was having a hard time following the story and just how everything worked. I did like what I did understand though, it's a unique take on this sort of fate and mythology and that was one part I was worried would be too much like every other mythology story. I have not been enjoying young adult romances so I was not surprised that I didn't enjoy that aspect that much but I do not fault the book for that, more so me growing out of the genre.
