This is the first book in a new YA series. I was first drawn to this book by the gorgeous cover. Those pinks and greens are stunning. As I started reading, I was sucked in from the first page. This book has a lot going on. A little something for everyone- love, action, fantasy, and mystery. The book is complex and hard to follow at times. I really had to focus on understanding all the world building and Greek mythology.
I enjoyed the dynamic between Lo and her two sisters. Especially when the past came back to haunt them and secrets started to be unearthed. I also enjoyed the idea of the finding it you are bound to a soulmate. Edei was an interesting character and their budding romance was fun.
Overall, this is a super complex and interesting story. If you enjoy YA, family drama, and Greek mythology then I think you’ll love this action packed book.
