This books has such a promising premise, but it just wasn’t for me. Somehow I was left guessing at what the setting was while simultaneously feeling overwhelmed by description. The characters, however, were well crafted. The sisters especially(descendants of the Greek fates) were done well. The idea of a Greek mythology inspired private investigator is quite unique.
Fans of books by Rick Riordan(Percy Jackson, Magnus Chase, and other mythology inspired books set in the modern world) will likely enjoy this book(though it is a bit darker and grittier-not an adult book, but for ages older than the target audience for the Percy Jackson books).
