Perfect pairing of romance and murder mystery!
When I first SAW this book, I immediately knew that its a book I would grab at the bookstore. The cover is stunning! I love the color contrast and how it just attracts the reader to buy the book before even reading the blurb! That's the best cover art, where you immediately buy it because it's just too beautiful to pass up.
This book seems right up my alley, romance AND murder mystery? Sign me up! Just from the first look/read, the combination of romance, murder mystery, gods, humor, and an entire magic system, was absolutely perfect for me, and I would love to continue reading!
Everything was perfect, from the relatable complicated family dynamics to the dreaminess of falling in love! The love interest even tells terrible jokes, haha!
And I LOVE murder mysteries, this was so exciting to read and I cannot wait to figure it out! And the mix-in with greek gods was just amazing, so creative and well done!
