I absolutely love concepts of the strings of fate, and this book seems like it's taking it to a whole 'nother level. The fact that our main character Io and her family can see these different strings and have to fight monsters coming at them - it reminds me a lot of percy jackson. In that sense of mythology and fantasy being mixed together.
