The world this story is set in has piqued my interest, as does the mystery that breaks the rules of setting as the characters know them. I'm hoping we get to see more of why the world is the way it is, with only sibling deities passing on powers to mortals, and what powers are at play. I'm less thrilled about the soul mate plot. I'm hoping romance doesn't overshadow the main plot.
