This book sounds really cool! I like the idea of a sunken city. Its unique and I haven't read about anything like that before. There is a mix of sci fi and fantasy in this book. I also love a murder mystery encapsulated into this world. When they were talking about there being a guy who cuts threads I felt a fear in me, the same way I felt when they talk about a dementor's kiss in Harry Potter. Love the book and looking forward to reading more!
