Congratulations on being the first book of 2020 that majorly disappointed me!

I'm sorry, but this book is not good. It's confusing. It leaves almost everything to the imagination. Nothing is solid. No world building. Little character development. I DON'T GET IT. The concept sounds REALLY cool but the execution leaves much to be desired. I'm all about two women traveling through time and falling in love through letters but I need at least a little something more to grasp onto. I can see this being a pretty interesting tv/movie/video thing, but as a book? It falls short.

I listened to the audiobook and maybe thats part of it - there were two narrators but their voices sounded so similar, I had trouble remembering who was Red and who was Blue.

I really should have DNF-ed it halfway on, but it was so short, I figured, maybe by the ending I'll GET it and something will click!

Nope. Still just as bad. SIGH.

Do not recommend.
