What first got my attention was the cover of the book and how it goes into the main characters. One is Red and the other Blue, they belong to different groups of people who are at war with each other and both want to win. For a future for each group, an agency as they refer to them selves, have tried to create and jump through time to do so. This Is How This Is How You Lose A Time War caught me by surprise how it ended.
When the book first started, it was a little slow. As I read after the first couple chapters, the pace picked up. Ultimately, I didn't want the book to end. Amal and Max did a wonderful job writing the novel and I cannot wait for others books by them.
