This is How You Lose the Time War was a phenomenally written. The writing style is beautiful and entrancing. It wrapped me up in the story and in the love between the characters. Also, a sapphic sci-fi romance-- what's not to love. The romance was well developed and easy to get into and felt realistic. As someone who has a hard time enjoying most romance, Red and Blue's romance pulled me in and made my heart sore. I loved the slow development of the relationship and the way it didn't jump in with no explanation. The enemies-to-lovers part of the romance was also well developed. Overall, the plot and writing were done extremely well and were thought out. I do wish it was a bit longer. I feel that Amal El-Mohtar could have easily made it novel length. Overall, I enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys sci-fi or fantasy genre.
