This was an odd book, but I really liked it! The first thing that stuck out to me was the style- it was epistolary but the letters that the two characters sent back and forth were not necessarily in traditional letter format. This worked well with the science fictional nature of the story.
I got sucked into this book pretty easily and it didn’t let me go- I wanted to find out more about the “world” (for lack of a better word) that the characters inhabited, because it was a truly unique one. The authors did a good job of pacing the story and revealing details at the right moments.
Ultimately, I was pretty satisfied with the plot and the amount of answers that I got. I would definitely recommend it, especially since it’s a fairly quick read.
