My first one star of the year. This book made me feel dumb. It tried too hard to be beautiful and poetic and while I'm sure it was, I have no idea what happened in this book. I don't understand how they fell in love and I barely understood the whole point. I think it dragged on and on but then at the same time it jumped around so much too. It was a waste of time. I do think my review should be taken with a grain of salt though since I seem to be in the unpopular category in terms of opinion. I wanted to love it too but it didn't work out for me at all and not really what I expected. Purple prose makes reading a book for me so not enjoyable and that seems to be the newest thing too. I also don't know if it's because science fiction is not my favorite genre out there but I still will give it a go from time to time. I feel bad giving it such a low rating but I cannot in good faith, lie about a rating.
