I really really enjoyed this book!! We follow two time-traveling agents in a futuristic setting. They are both on the opposite sides of the war, but they quickly become friends through writing letters (which is pretty much the format of the book) I think the concept was super unique, and that alone was enough to get me to start reading.

I think the plot was written well, and even though the authors threw you into the story with little information at the beginning, it wasn't terribly difficult to put together the pieces (after a while). I was very confused for the first 50-70 pgs though, which is the only part I truly disliked. The world was also super intriguing and I loved reading more about it!!

I loved the representation in this book (lgbtq+, specifically sapphic) and I was pleasantly surprised by the romance. Romance often draws me away from a book, but I felt as if it wasn't forced in this book. Sometimes I found the "declarations of love" to be a bit over the top, but that's how I found most books with romances to be, so take that with a grain of salt.

The writing was very very lyrical and flowery, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is hard to get through at some points, so just keep that in mind if you are considering reading this!

Overall really enjoyed this book! I will probably check out both author's other works sometime in the near future.
