I don't know how to explain exactly how I feel about this.
But fellas, it was a STRUGGLE. S-T-R-U-G-G-L-E to read this. You know why? Maybe because the author achieved something very amazingly wonderful: exceedingly useless, purple writing.
Guys, scouring sentences in order to find some sort of hidden meaning in them is... remarkably not fun.
I enjoy reading quickly! My eyes immediately glaze over boring, descriptive pieces of writing so I can get to one of my favorite things: dialogue. Naturally, I do often struggle with "literary" pieces, but I do really try and read them, and I tried to read this one.
Getting used to this writing? And impressive feat on its own. The idea that I even finished book? Also, remarkably impressive! Can I pat myself on the back?
