This is a gem of a book, but a gem that looks totally different from every angle. Or maybe it's poetry? When I first started reading it, I recommended it to a friend within 20 pages, calling it, "Spy vs. Spy, sexting each other in creative ways across multiple timelines," but it's so much more than that. Yes, they're on opposite sides, and yes, they're falling in love. But as a collaborative piece, the author's voices come through, and you get to see how they both care deeply about what they're working on. Like they're inviting each other into this world they're building with beauty and intention, and inviting us to peek in through the gaps. It's a magical snow globe of a book, and when the sparkles settle, omg. The castle that is being built in the middle is glorious. So yeah, it's, uh, it's pretty good.
