I had heard a lot when it came to this book. I heard q lot about the different aspects of the relationship between red and blue, the themes in their respective societies, and just in general how lyrical the writing was. The writing was incredibly complex both in letters between the red and blue and in the general writing. I was not completely in love with the writing style, but everything else made up for it. The relationship between red and blue, both the development and in its entirety, was incredible to watch. I felt so connected with the character, and despite knowing how it would end, I was still fully invested and waiting to see what would happen next. The plots outside of red and blue were also very engaging and was able to stand on its own as a plot line. The whole war itself was incredibly interesting and beautifully complex in a way I'd love to explore more. Overall, it was a very beautiful read.
