Whoa, I have no idea what's happening but it's lovely.

The first chapter of this time-defying novel is a devotional to surrealism. A warrior in time, Red, surveys the tattered battlefield of the defeated. She's superior somehow, though her anatomy is described like a robot it's unclear what she actually is. She finds a letter in the soot, which when ignited reveals a message. I'm assuming this is where Blue comes in, and their game of cat and mouse or a "Romeo and Juliet" through time begins. I have no clue what's going on, but I know I'm going to enjoy it. It's unfolding like poetry, so if you enjoy beautiful prose and a can follow the foreign landscape of whatever universe this author is going to simulate, then jump in.
