I really like the concept of this book. It's unique, it's romantic, and it poses a lot of questions. The cover however doesn't seem to fit the concept for me. Though beautiful, it looks like a literary fiction book and not necessarily a sci-fi book. I was expecting more of a family saga across generations kind of story when I clicked on it. I want to read more because I want to see how a love across two threads of time can resolve itself. I'm expecting heartbreak reminiscent of the His Dark Materials series, but I want to see if it surprises me.
