I was immediately struck by the beautiful imagery and the use of words to convey Red's thoughts. The writing read as poetry, which was very beautiful and a joy to read. Red seems like a strong main character with unique qualities that immediately drew me in and intrigued me. I will admit the writing was a little confusing to me, but I think as I get used to the writing style it would seem less daunting. I am most interested to see how Red changes as a character throughout the story. The cover is simple, yet I feel it conveys a poetic meaning that might become more apparent as the book goes on. For its simplicity though, I do feel like the image catches the eye. I also really like the title, which is actually what drew me to the book in the first place. Overall, I would definitely give the book a try, as I love time-travel stories, and this seems like a fresh take.
