This one starts out with a bang and really had be scratching my head. Because I wondered myself, aren't I funnier when i'm drunk? I think so... It also hypes up the things that are going through her head as she is drinking, and they all seem so relatable to me.
I'm excited to see where this one goes but it does deal with some heavy topics so I am also cautiously optimistic about how those will be handled. So far from the intro it seems like things are starting out nicely.
The writing style feels like it is being geared more towards a college aged audience, dealing with the current struggles of binge drinking. I think that while that is the targeted audience, many are going to be able to relate to the writing as the style is really easy to connect with. The writing flows well and makes for an engaging read that you won't want to put down.
I have a lot of hope for this book and would love to continue to read it just to see how it plays out.
