I read Jas' first book and I can say that this is definitely way more intense than "We Deserve Monuments." I think there are a lot of trigger warnings that should have been listed rather than going to the website for more trigger warning content.
I found the book cover to be really interesting and you already can tell that one of the characters has a lot of intense feelings and is going through something. You already hope that the character is okay.
After reading the first few pages of the excerpt, I can definitely confirm that this book is way more intense than Jas' first book, which can be good and/or bad. I did want to read more because I want to know what the main character is going through and just like my feelings towards the book cover, I just want the character to be okay.
