I LOVED Jas Hammonds debut novel, so I had high expectations for their latest book. The cover drew me in immediately; it is electric and unique! However, based on the First Look I’m not sure “Thirsty” is for me. I know I’m outside the target audience, but so far I simply can’t connect. I’m currently finding the characters extremely unlikeable and shallow, which might be why I’m having a hard time with this one. I’ll likely read on anyway, as I’m hoping Hammonds second novel ends up being just as gripping and powerful as their debut was.
