The book makes it very clear in it's starting chapters that the MC is in a bad place and perfectly set-up for a downward spiral by her peers and her low self-esteem... I'm definitely curious how the story will unfold.

Like Annetta, said, Roxanne seems horrible. She doesn't care about the girls, only about having fun, controlling people and creating drama not caring about the consequences so long as they don't fall back on her. UGHHH. I absolutely do not want Blake to get into that society, no matter how amazing it supposedly is for career opportunities.

Similarly, with all those "Most Likely to Still Be Together in Ten Years" and "We were going to last forever, I just knew it."'s in the beginning, I'm assuming their relationship will be put to the test. Well, to be honest, I do wonder why, after four years, Blake is doubting that Ella loves her and feels inferior to her.. Sometimes there's nothing you can do, but frankly, it doesn't seem like Ella cares much about Blake's well-being. She lets watches her make bad decisions while almost blackout drunk, doesn't take Blake's anxieties seriously, encourages her to keep drinking insane amounts etc. To be honest, I hope they don't end up together.

I'm a little curious about how things will unfold between Blake and Nettie. She seems like she genuinely cares, though Blake laughs at her concern because she is unused to being cared about, I suppose.

A very important book about alcohol addiction in your teens. Usually addicts in media are parents, adults. But there is so much drinking and so much stress involved in both high school and college, I'm sure many young people will benefit from this cautionary tale.
