Sizzlingly visual from the first page and very immersive. I immediately thought of Blake as Zendaya's character from "Euphoria", a centered but troubled party girl with a double life. Fast paced, character-driven, relatable, and with two worlds that are like a flip of a coin. I'm not sure how long the plates can keep spinning.
There seems even in just the first chapters to be fracturing in friendships and secrets that could cause mutually shared destruction. Secret, drugs, and blackout drinking aren't the best combination, especially when people are thirsty and social climbing.
But it seems like the Blake character at least is a little tired of this life. I'm not sure if she's tired of being on the edge of it and wants more or wants out completely. And The other characters? I can't wait to know them.
